Pool Parties

Looking for the perfect spot to host a fun and memorable pool party? The Westgate Cabana Club is the ideal venue for both members and non-members. Our spacious covered patio offers a perfect view of the pool, complete with four large picnic tables and ceiling fans to keep everyone cool.

You’ll also have access to a BBQ area, the main pool, wading pool, grassy lawn, foosball, and ping pong tables! Regular parties are offered during recreational hours on weekends, and private parties are available on weekday and weekend mornings with full access to the pool and facility.

Details

  • Guest Limits

    • Regular parties may not exceed 35 guests to avoid crowding and ensure adequate lifeguard coverage during member hours. If you would like to have more guests, please consider reserving a private party.
    • Private parties may not exceed 50 guests to ensure adequate lifeguard coverage.
    • Host family and infants less than 1 year old are excluded from the count
    • All other guests, including members and non-swimmers, are included in the count and maximum guest limit
    • Should your party exceed the maximum number of guests on the day of your party, you will be assessed a fee of $50 per guest.

  • Payment and Cancellation

    • Payment is required at time of requesting a pool party reservation.
    • 10% cancellation fee
    • No changes or refunds less than 7 days in advance of the party date.

  • Party Guest Registration

    • At check-in, the party host will receive paper waivers for all guests.
    • A parent or guardian must sign the waiver when dropping off their child.
    • The host is responsible for collecting and returning all signed waivers to receive wristbands.
    • Parents dropping off children must check them in before leaving.
    • Non-member guests may stay after the party if they are accompanied by a member and check in using a guest credit.

  • Parking

    • Parking is not permitted in the neighborhood or in front of any residential homes as it violates our operating permit. Please help us be a good neighbor.
    • Please advise guests to use the Baker School parking lots across the street from the club.
    • Please note that the curb adjacent to pool property on Bucknall Rd. is for loading and unloading only.

  • Important Pool Rules

    • No smoking
    • No amplified sound​ or music
    • Hosts may provide their own food and beverage
    • Hosts may use the barbecues and refrigerator
    • Hosts may request use of the freezer, but not guaranteed.
    • Alcohol is permitted, but please drink responsibly
    • Absolutely NO GLASS or other breakables are allowed
    • No Piñatas
    • No glitter/confetti floaties
    • Guest must follow all of our pool rules

  • Lifeguards & Adult Swim

    • Lifeguards will be on duty during your party, however, please remind your guests that children who are not strong swimmers must stay in the shallow end of the pool for their own safety.
    • There is an Adult Swim break the last 15 minutes of each hour. See pool hours for more information.

  • Party Arrival, Departure, & Cleaning

    • You may arrive up to 30 minutes early to set up your party
    • You may stay 30 minutes after the party has ended to clean up.
    • Decorations are permitted, but please only use light adhesive tape such as blue painters tape or scotch tape (no duct tape/packaging tape, staples, push pins, or nails, etc.)
    • Please do not attach any decorations to the overhead fans
    • Please remove all decorations and tape at the end of your party.
    • Pick up and dispose of all party trash and recyclables in proper bins.
    • Please clean barbeque and utensils if used.
    • Pick up food and clean up spills from ground in party area.
    • Ask lifeguard for assistance for messy spills.

Yes, you may come up to 30 minutes early to set up for your party.

You may provide your own food and beverages for your party. However, please note that they may only be brought in non-breakable containers. Absolutely no glass, ceramic or other breakable containers are allowed.

No music or amplified sound is permitted as this violates our permit.

For the safety of our guests we do not allow piñatas. Games offered on premises include foosball and ping-pong, and a Cabana Kids Corner with age appropriate toys available for play. Please alert the Lifeguard if any balls go over the fence.

Yes, you may store items in the refrigerator and freezer during your party; freezer space may be requested, but not guaranteed. You provide your own food and beverages. There are also electrical outlets by the drinking fountain.

Yes, alcohol is permitted, but not on the pool deck. Please drink responsibly. Absolutely no glass bottles.

Yes, there are two gas and two charcoal grills available for use during your party. Please clean up after using the grill. Tools to clean the BBQ are located under the sink in the office.

Yes, all guests (including host family and members) are required to sign a waiver.  Waivers will be given to the party host upon check in.

Yes, both swimming and non-swimming guests count towards the guest total and maximum guest limit.

Yes, member guests count towards the guest total and maximum guest limit

Infants 1 year or older count towards the guest total and maximum guest limit

No, please do not bring confetti/glitter inflatables since they make a big mess if they tear.
